OUR SERVICES:
Only three
miles from Manchester city centre and surrounded by five acres of beautiful
gardens, Chancellors is conveniently located for all local amenities. Opened in
1997, Chancellors boasts all the amenities of any modern hotel and conference
centre whilst maintaining a unique sense of history which makes it the ideal
choice for conferences, accommodation, and banqueting.
MEETING
FACILITIES -
Facilities and Floorplans
Nine fully equipped
conference rooms provide a range of accommodation suitable for a variety of
events from interviews, breakfast meetings and working lunches to major
residential conferences. The impressive main lecture theatre can seat up to 125
people. Seating and furniture arrangements are highly versatile and can be
organised to meet individual requirements. All rooms feature a controllable
combination of natural and artificial lighting.
Conference room
facilities include television and video, overhead projector and screen,
whiteboard, flipchart and pens, chilled water dispenser, floor and wall mounted
power sockets, and telephone and data links. Additional equipment can be
supplied by arrangement. There is conference organiser space available with
telephone, data and internet links. There are also all day photocopying and fax
facilities available.
ACCOMMODATION:
Our 75 bedrooms (all
non-smoking) are classically decorated and furnished to a 3 star equivalent
standard. Each of the rooms has an en-suite bathroom and is equipped with a
desk, direct dial telephone, television, hair dryer and tea and coffee making
facilities. A selection of bedrooms have been specially designed to accommodate
disabled guests with impaired mobility. Two of these bedrooms also interconnect
with standard single rooms. There is full access for wheelchair users into and
throughout the building. Bedrooms are located at ground, first and second floor
level. There is a lift that provides access to the first floor. Accommodation
rates are from 1st September 2004 until 31st August 2005. Rates start from
£50.00 per night and are inclusive of VAT and a full English breakfast.
