WEEKEND COURSES
The Elite School of
Plastering recognise that not everyone can take time out during the week to
learn a construction skill so we also run weekend courses in plastering. The
weekend courses allow you to attend on Saturday and Sunday 9.30am until 3.30 -
4.00pm approx on two consecutive weekends. This will avoid loss of earnings and
disruption to your working week.

Welcome The Elite School of Plastering and
Construction Skills has been specifically set up to help you learn your
chosen construction skill in a professional and friendly environment. The
Instruction is carried out by City and Guilds qualified craftsmen with an
excess of 30 years of practical experience between
them. |

If you want
to learn a new skill and begin a new career or develop your skills in
plastering, tiling or bricklaying, come and train with The Elite School of
Plastering. It will excite you, challenge you and take you out of your routine.
You will return home, with renewed clarity and energy for your career or DIY
project.
Our flexible, person centred approach focuses on your
individual needs, whether you are new to the construction industry, or whether
you wish to increase your skills. Weekday Courses Weekday courses start every
Monday and run through until Thursday from the hours of 9.30am until 3.30 -
4.00pm approx.
Weekend Courses
The Elite School of

The fee for the 4 Day Hand
Plastering course is £275.00 The fee for the 8 Day Hand Plastering
course is £525.00 The fee for the 4 Day Tiling course is £375.00
The fee for the 4 Day Bricklaying course is £375.00 The Course The
courses we hold are very much hands on, with tools and equipment initially
explained and demonstrated by instructors. The courses are all practical and as
a result you will get dirty! So you should bring with you some appropriate
clothing.
We will supply all the tools and materials you will be
using while you are here. Please wear protective footwear i.e. boots you don't
mind getting dirty. Our courses are extremely popular and sought after so we
recommend all participants book their course as early as possible to avoid
disappointment as availability changes daily.
After you have trained
with us we would be happy for you to contact the centre at anytime either
by phone or email should you need advice on any work you are attempting. At the
end of the course you will receive The Elite School of Plastering Certificate
of Completion, the tools used on the course, a reference DVD and a printed
manual.
We will also provide you with a portfolio of your work;
this may assist you gaining employment at a later date. Funding Depending on
your circumstances you may be able to apply for funding towards the cost of the
course from the following agencies: - Job Centre New Deals, Action Plan and
resettlement packages for Armed Forces.
