WEEKEND COURSES
We recognise that it
may be difficult to attend the weekday courses due to other commitments. The
weekend courses allow you to attend Saturday and Sunday over two consecutive
weekends from the hours 9.30am until 3/4.30pm. This will avoid loss of earnings
and disruption to your working week.

BUSINESS PROFILE:
At The
Plastering, Tiling, & Bricklaying School of Excellence we run a 4 day
intensive courses. These are run from Monday to Thursday 9.30am until 3.30pm or
Saturday & Sunday on two consecutive weekends 9.30am until 3.30pm This will
avoid loss of earnings & disruption to the normal working week.
Hand plastering course:
This plastering course is
suitable for anyone regardless of previous experience. You may want to learn
the plastering trade as a new business venture or purely to work on your own
property. On completion of this course you will have gained the confidence and
technique to achieve a first class finish to a wall or ceiling.
Wall and floor tiling
course
Throughout the course you will be given your own working area
and all the necessary tools. Great emphasis will be placed on problem solving
and practising difficult cuts. To achieve this you will work in a specially
prepared bay with all the usual cutting problems these include, around sinks,
toilets and wall switches. You will be encouraged to design your own wall and
floor patterns and complete a tiling job

Bricklaying
Courses
This courses are designed to give you a good understanding in
all areas of bricklaying. The course content will include Making the mixes,
Going around corners, Different Bonds, Pointing, Using Lines, Single Skin
Walls, Cavity Walls, How to use wall ties Damp Proof Course Blockwork and
Patterns.
