Furthermore, the installation of our discreet
draft proofing system significantly reduces both heat loss and noise. With
Dixon & Beswick you can be assured of an efficient, professional service
with all work being carried out by experienced joinery professionals.
We also guarantee all our work for 12 months. Several sample restored
windows are available to view at our offices in Disley (Stockport). Should you

OUR RESTORATION
PROCESS:
- Remove
beading & carefully remove top and bottom sashes
- Assess
condition of sill and box frame
- Remove
excess paint from frame & effect repairs as necessary
- Replace sash
cords and service pulleys
- Re-balance
sash weights to ensure smooth operation of both the top & bottom
openers
- Plane and
sand top & bottom sashes
- Install
draught proof system as per diagram below and right
- Prime all
exposed woodwork
- Supply and
fit new beading with draught proof system
- Fit new
centre catch and additional hardware as required
- Full
operational demonstration
